Dolci and Kabana - All or Nothing
Part of the exhibition High Risk Dressing / Critical Fashion, RMIT Design Hub, Friday 17 February – Thursday 13 April, 2017
All or Nothing is a performance unfolding over several hours, decompressing a traditional 15-minute catwalk show into a durational event. The performance interrupts and slow down the continuous-walking, no stopping runway format that is currently du jour, to include moments of stasis, encounter and erosion in the mise en scène of the show. The performance explores the difference between the formal qualities of a fashion model, with those onlooking or incidentally just there.
